In the 50 days leading up to the preseason opener between the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, we're counting down the 50 best plays of 2013.
Yesterday at No. 12 was Sen'Derrick Marks getting such a good pass rush that he forced Titans rookie Chance Warmack to hold in the end zone and give up the safety.
In at No. 11 was Marcedes Lewis going one-on-one with a Titans cornerback and using his physical advantage to catch a touchdown pass in his fourth straight game.
What made this play possible, however, was a smart read by offensive coordinator Jedd Fisch. He sent a heavy package into the game, gambling on the fact that Tennessee wouldn't react well to an audible that put Lewis out wide.
Fisch's gamble paid off and he got the match up the Jaguars wanted.
Should Lewis' touchdown in a fourth straight game be higher on the list? Lower? Let us know in the comments below.
