The Jacksonville Jaguars continue training camp on Saturday morning, after getting started on Friday. The first day went about how you'd expect a first day of NFL training camp to go: There were ups and downs. For those who can't attend training camp, we'll try to keep a live blog running each day it's open to the public and capture some of what people are tweeting about etc.
The live blog today will feature tweets, photos and video from people live at training camp so those of us not in attendance can get a feel for what's going on. If you see something cool on Twitter, Facebook and/or Instagram etc. feel free to drop them in the comments as well.
Use this as the open thread for training camp, too.
Some important information for training camp:
Training Camp Live Blog:
7:52 PM: Defensive lineman had the edge tonight.
7:47 PM: Correction: That's Abry Jones, not Ryan Davis.
7:35 PM: He's a long shot to make the final 53-man roster, but with the team thin at running back, Terrance Cobb will most likely grab a spot on this year's practice squad.
7:33 PM: There was reportedly limited parking, so attendance could have been even higher. Pretty good for the first training camp practice in team history out of town.
7:31 PM: The rookie Blake Bortles got a large percentage of reps tonight and made the most of them.
7:20 PM: Great coverage. For one-on-one drills, defenders won more often than not tonight
6:51 PM: The Jaguars offensive line could be the most improved unit in 2014. We'll see.
6:50 PM: Oh no.
6:24 PM: In case you missed it, wide receiver Cecil Shorts was ruled out for a "couple weeks" with a hamstring injury he sustained on Saturday.
6:11 PM: Nice.
6:00 PM: The very first Jaguars training camp practice away from home is underway!
5:46 PM: Marcedes Lewis tweeting during practice?
5:17 PM: The gates are open at Bartram Trail High School and everything is ready to go.
4:12 PM: Reminder: Today's practice is at Bartram Trail High School and starts at 6:00pm. It's a night practice, it's free, and it's open to the public. Enjoy, Jacksonville.
