Raiders owner Mark Davis discusses relocation to San Antonio

Oakland Raiders owner, Mark Davis meets with San Antonio city leaders according to a report by Josh Baugh.

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

Josh Baugh of MySA.com out of San Antonio, TX reports that Mark Davis, owner of the Oakland Raiders, has met with city leaders in San Antonio about the possibility of the Raiders moving to the Alamo City.

Baugh reports that Davis met with officials at the Alamo Dome, and that Davis took an ariel tour of the city. San Antonio, one of the nation's largest cities, was rumored to be a front runner for the Saints following the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, so San Antonio is no stranger to NFL rumors.

The posturing by Mark Davis could be just that. Posturing. NFL Owners are known to leverage their current cities by threats of moving the team. Meeting with city officials and business people takes posturing to a higher level than unsubstantiated internet based claims.

Will the Raiders move? I'll be the first to admit that I have no clue.

What I do know that it is really nice to be revealing the world's largest video boards in Everbank and leaving the relocation defending to other fan bases this offseason.

So, grab a cold beer and nod your beautiful little heads to this jam. WE MOVIN ON UP, WITH OUR D's UP HIGH; WE GOT DELUXE SCOREBOARDS IN THE SKY.
