The Jacksonville Jaguars suffered a blow to their offensive line depth today, as center Matt Stankiewitch was waived/injured. Stankiewitch, who went undrafted in 2013, spent time on the New England Patriots roster before being released. He was signed by the Jaguars in December and has been on the roster ever since.
To replace Stankiewitch, Tad Dickman reported that the team signed Antoine Caldwell, who formerly played guard and center for the Houston Texans.
ROSTER MOVES: #Jaguars sign C/G Antoine Caldwell (@Twan6Deuce), who played in 39 gms for Houston (09-12); waive/injured C Matt Stankiewitch.

Caldwell was on the Buffalo Bills training camp roster in 2013, but was released before the regular season started.
He was invited to Jaguars rookie mini-camp back in May, but wasn't offered a contract.
