Vegas thinks Jaguars will have NFL's worst record in 2014

There's something fishy going on with the odds for the NFL's worst record in Las Vegas.

Jonathan Daniel

The Jacksonville Jaguars have the best odds to have the worst record in the NFL during the 2014 season, that is according to Bovada. That's right, the Jaguars are current at 3/1 to have the worst record in the NFL.

The Jacksonville Jaguars have never finished a season in their history with the worst record in the NFL, but even after the improvements made during the offseason, Bovada is gambling that the betting public won't notice and will believe that the team will finish dead last in 2014.

The Jaguars finished with the second worst record in the NFL in 2012 and the third worst in 2013, but the team has looked drastically different so far in the preseason than it has in the past. It's still only preseason, but it's hard to imagine the Jaguars will finish with the worst record in the NFL this upcoming season.

Here are the teams behind the Jaguars, per Bovada:

Oakland Raiders 7/2
Minnesota Vikings 7/1
Cleveland Browns 7/1
Tennessee Titans 10/1
Buffalo Bills 14/1
Dallas Cowboys 16/1

Personally, I think I would have the Bills, Cowboys and Raiders with better odds than the Jaguars. Given how the preseason is gone, you might want to push the Browns up there as well.
