Jacksonville Jaguars 53-man roster prediction for regular season

The Jaguars have to make final cuts and roster moves this weekend, so here's our (final) guess at the roster that heads to Philadelphia for the regular season opener.

Final cuts are coming as soon as today and with a full preseason schedule played out, we should have a pretty good idea of who will make the final 53-man roster and who could see time on the practice squad.

So, for the last time, here's our prediction of who will last after final cuts this weekend. This is not a depth chart.

Position Players
Quarterback Chad Henne, Blake Bortles
Running Backs Toby Gerhart, Storm Johnson, Jordan Todman, Denard Robinson, Will Ta'ufo'ou
Wide Receivers Cecil Shorts III, Marqise Lee, Allen Robinson, Mike Brown, Allen Hurns
Tight Ends Marcedes Lewis, Clay Harbor, Marcel Jensen
Offensive Line Luke Joeckel, Zane Beadles, Drew Nowak, Brandon Linder, Austin Pasztor, Cameron Bradfield, Luke Bowanko, Jacques McClendon
Defensive Line Tyson Alualu, Red Bryant, Roy Miller, Abry Jones, Ziggy Hood, Sen'Derrick Marks
LEOs Chris Clemons, Andre Branch, Ryan Davis, Chris Smith
Linebackers Paul Posluzny, Geno Hayes, Telvin Smith, Nate Stupar, LaRoy Reynolds, Dekoda Watson, J.T. Thomas
Cornerbacks Alan Ball, Dwayne Gratz, Will Blackmon, Demetrius McCray, Jeremy Harris
Safeties Johnathan Cyprien, Josh Evans, Winston Guy, Chris Prosinski
Special Teams Josh Scobee, Kasey Redfern, Bryan Anger, Carson Tinker

Practice squad candidates: QB Ricky Stanzi, RB Terrance Cobb, WR Chad Bumphis, DT DeAndre Coleman, LB Marcus Whitfield, and OT Josh Wells. (I expect us to claim 2-3 players this weekend.)

Quick notes: I didn't include Ace Sanders because he currently doesn't count against the roster. When Sanders comes back, I suspect Mike Brown will be the one to go.
