Football is back and it'll be here until February!
The annual Hall of Fame Game in Canton, Ohio takes place tonight at 8:00pm, with the Buffalo Bills taking on the New York Giants. This will be the 51st Hall of Fame Game, but it will include a first for NFL history -- longer PATs. The NFL is moving the extra point back from the 2-yard line to the 15-yard line through the second week of the preseason.
The Bills last participated in the Hall of Fame game in 2009, which resulted in a 21-18 loss to the Tennessee Titans. (You might remember it as the game where punter A.J. Trapasso ran a 40-yard fake into the end zone.)
The Giants will be playing in their fifth Hall of Fame Game, with their last appearance coming in a 34-17 win in 2002 over the Houston Texans. But Giants fans will most likely want to forget that season, as New York was primed to make a strong playoff run, but instead blew a 35-14 lead in the third quarter of a NFC Wild Card game against the San Francisco 49ers.
So sit back, relax, make sure you're following our Bills friends at Buffalo Rumblings and Giants friends at Big Blue View, and join us for a discussion here as football returns.
