The Jacksonville Jaguars get to finally run the world's largest scoreboard to full effect on Friday evening when the team takes on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at EverBank Field. The scoreboards and pools aren't the only new things that the team is introducing to make things more fan-friendly at the stadium, though.
"The video boards, spas and cabanas are just a start in our ongoing effort to give our fans the best in-stadium experience in the NFL," Jaguars Owner Shad Khan said in a press release. "We're committed to giving you everything we have to win, but one thing we can guarantee you is a great day and unforgettable memories at EverBank Field."
Not only will there be the new scoreboards and cabana pools in EverBank Field, but by the time the first home game of the regular season against the Indianapolis Colts rolls around, fans in the stadium will have access to high speed wifi thanks to Extreme Networks.
"The start of a new season is always fun, and we have a lot to be excited about in Shad's third season of ownership of the Jaguars," Jaguars President Mark Lamping said in a press release. "From upgraded and cutting-edge technology to new food offerings, the in-stadium experience will be better than ever and precisely what our loyal fans deserve."
Some of the new food offerings in the club section include a list of local restaurants and inspired items. In the Touchdown Club you can find Bono's Barbeque, Burrito Gallery, Uptown Market, Cowford's Chicken, Bold City Burger and Dos Gatos.
Not only that, but the new North Endzone Deck is open to the general public on game day.
The team has also doubled the capacity of the State Farm Neighbor Fan Cave. The Fan Cave features high density Wi-Fi, flat screen TVs, Microsoft Surface Tablets, Xbox gaming consoles, fantasy stats, and recliners.
