Buccaneers vs. Jaguars odds even heading into game day

If you are curious what the odds are for the Buccaneers Jaguars game on Friday evening we have them here and also you should probably call a hotline.

Phil Sears-USA TODAY Sports

The Jacksonville Jaguars host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Friday evening to kick of the 2014 NFL preseason for both teams. It will be the first time we see the Jaguars new-look offensive line and defense in live action, albeit likely for a short while.

One of the more fascinating things about preseason games is the fact that they're virtually meaningless, don't count and people bet on them. There are odds for NFL preseason games and it's something people care about which is kind of weird and potentially sad.

For those people, the Jaguars and the Buccaneers opened as a pick 'em game, meaning the odds are even, according to OddsShark. Some books have the Jaguars as a one point favorite, but it appears Vegas and most books view the two teams at this point even, considering the finished with identical records in 2014.

The over/under is currently set at 37 points and OddsShark's computers picked the Buccaneers to win 14 to 8.2. I really want to know how the Jaguars will score the 0.2.
