Jaguars vs. Eagles Madden 15 final score: Josh Scobee hits late winner in 17-14 victory

The Jaguars pulled off a Madden 15 Week 1 win thanks to a game winning field goal by Josh Scobee.

Editors note: This is a recap based off a Madden 15 simulation of the game.

The Jacksonville Jaguars proved the doubters wrong in the first week of the Madden 15 season, knocking off the Philadelphia Eagles in a hard fought 17-14 win. Josh Scobee drilled the game winner as the final seconds ticked off the clock.

The game was a defensive battle from the start with the teams trading interceptions in the first half, heading into halftime with the Eagles leading 3-0. The Jaguars rallied in the second half however, leaning heavily on Toby Gerhart and the running game to pick up 17 points, including a 10 point fourth quarter.

The Jaguars defense was able to stifle Chip Kelly's potent offense on the road, with defensive end Red Bryant surprisingly picking up multiple sacks on the day. The defensive backfield covered well and allowed the defensive line to get the job one.

At 1-0, the Jaguars look to win consecutive games for the first time in quite a while with Washington up next.
