The Jacksonville Jaguars have all but ruled wide receiver Cecil Shorts III and strong safety Johnathan Cyprien out for Sunday's matchup against Washington.
According to Hays Carlyon of the Florida Times-Union, Shorts was working out on the sidelines with fellow injured players like offensive tackle Austin Pasztor and running back Storm Johnson. Cyprien appeared not to be on the practice fields at all.

With Cyprien missing all of Wednesday and Thursday, in addition to today, it'd be a shock if he wasn't ruled out this afternoon. Shorts, however, is disappointing. The hamstring injury he picked up in training camp and re-aggravated at the end of preseason wasn't thought to be serious, but after two games missed it'll be interesting to see when he's back in the lineup and playing at full strength.
There's good news. Carlyon reported that running back Toby Gerhart, receiver Marqise Lee, and cornerback Dwayne Gratz appeared to be practicing.
UPDATE: Cyprien has been ruled out for Sunday's game against Washington and Shorts is listed as doubtful, according to John Oehser of Jaguars.com.

Jaguars HC Gus Bradley says WR Cecil Shorts III will travel to Washington. He worked well on side Friday and Bradley not ruling him out.
