Marqise Lee injury: Jaguars WR out against Colts

The Jaguars will be without another offensive weapon Sunday.

When it rains for the Jacksonville Jaguars it pours. The team will be without rookie second-round pick Marqise Lee on Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts, the team announced on Thursday afternoon. Lee missed practice on Wednesday with hamstring tightness, but was ruled out today when he missed practice again.

Lee had been in the starting lineup for most of the preseason and the first two weeks of the season, presumably because the team has had so many injuries at the position. It appears that rookie wide receiver Allen Robinson is finally healthy and is coming off a nice game against Washington, so it's more of a rookie in rookie out situation.

It appears the Jaguars will also be getting back veteran wide receiver Cecil Shorts III for the game against the Colts on Sunday. More than anything, getting a veteran back on an offense that's so young, especially an ailing position, will be big.
