The Jacksonville Jaguars turn down for no one.
Ryan O'Halloran of the Florida Times-Union is reporting that the team has placed safety Chris Prosinski was waived/injured, and that tight end Marcel Jensen and wide receiver Kerry Taylor were cut. In their place, linebacker Jeremiah George, safety Sherrod Martin, and tight end Nic Jacobs were signed.

George is a rookie who was a fifth-round pick by the New York Jets this year, but wound up on the team's practice squad. With the Jaguars taking him off the Jets practice squad, it's mandatory that he spend time on the active roster. Martin was one of the last cuts to not make the final 53-man roster, so bringing him back was an easy move.
Jacobs, however, is a rookie out of McNeese State. He's a big prospect (6'5" and 269 pounds) so it looks like the Jaguars want whoever replaces Jensen to be better than him in pass protection.
