NFL power rankings Week 5: Started from the bottom now we're making ourselves comfortable

The Raiders fired their coach and their rookie quarterback is injured... and the Jaguars are still ranked lower than them.

Jake Roth-USA TODAY Sports

Each Tuesday, we'll take a look at the power rankings to see where the Jacksonville Jaguars check in on these all-important objective rankings. Last week, the Jaguars ranked No. 32. It can't get any worse, right?

Wrong.

The Oakland Raiders fired head coach Dennis Allen after their London trip and rookie quarterback Derek Carr is injured. And even with all that, SB Nation's Danny Kelly believes that the Jaguars are still the worst team in the league in his Week 5 NFL power rankings.

This week, the Jaguars are hosting the Pittsburgh Steelers in what will be Blake Bortles' home debut as the starter. I think this is a game the Jaguars can win... they're at home, the Steelers aren't stopping the pass, and rookie receivers Allen Robinson and Allen Hurns are getting in a groove. With a win, the Jaguars should easily jump out of last place. Right, Danny?
