Season openers aren't usually high-scoring affairs for the Jacksonville Jaguars, but that hasn't stopped oddsmakers from opening the over/under on the team's Week 1 matchup with the Philadelphia Eagles.
Earlier, Ryan O'Halloran of the Florida Times-Union tweeted that the over/under set by oddsmakers opened at 53 points, which would be the largest in a decade.
#Jaguars open up as a 10-point underdog at Philadelphia (over-under 53).

I did a little research and found that Vegas Insiders showed various 53-point over/under totals, but I don't know if that's the website what O'Halloran was referencing.
Whatever the case, 53 points would be the largest combined score and the biggest shootout for a season opener since 2002, when the Indianapolis Colts beat the Jaguars by a score of 28-25.
