The Arizona Cardinals are just about set to host the San Diego Chargers in the second game of a Monday Night Football doubleheader tonight.
Despite a 10-6 record out of the NFC West -- most likely the toughest division in football -- and a streak that saw them win six of their final eight games, the Cardinals missed out on the playoffs in the last week of the season. However, with a formidable passing attack and an improved defense, it'll be interesting to see if the Cardinals take a step forward and division rivals San Francisco take a step backward in 2014.
As for the Chargers, they're stuck in just-good-enough-to-be-a-game-away-from-the-Super-Bowl purgatory. Can Phillip Rivers have another monster season? Can Ryan Matthews and Danny Woodhead combine for a competent rushing attack? Or will San Diego be the odd man out in an AFC West that features the Denver Broncos and Kansas City Chiefs?
We're minutes away from kickoff, and three more hours of football on our televisions, so let's discuss it here!
