Jones was drafted in the second round of the 2004 NFL Draft with the 55th overall pick. He was lead blocker for arguably the two best running backs the franchise has ever had in Fred Taylor and Maurice Jones-Drew, while also adding 911 yards and 10 touchdowns in his eight-year career in Jacksonville.
Prior to the 2013 season, Jones was signed by the Houston Texans, but played only five games for them.
