By all accounts, the Jacksonville Jaguars will select a defensive lineman who can rush the passer with the No. 3 overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft. The question, however, is whether they'll pick USC's Leonard Williams or Nebraska's Randy Gregory.
Last week, SB Nation's Mocking The Draft predicted the Jaguars would grab Leonard Williams, an interior rusher who was a versatile enough talent to play several positions along the defensive line. This week, it's back to Nebraska's Randy Gregory, a guy who some believe has the edge on Williams in terms of pure pass rush ability.
3. Jacksonville Jaguars: Randy Gregory, DE/OLB, Nebraska
At this point, this pick has become rote. Gregory would be the young pass rusher the Jaguars need. He could help transform a defense for Gus Bradley that is starting to really have a nice collection of good players.
It's not a case of the Jaguars not wanting Williams, but rather a belief that the Tennessee Titans will shy away from a first-round quarterback, and select the USC standout and leave the Jaguars with a nice consolation prize of Gregory.
