The Jacksonville Jaguars offensive coordinator search is underway and one of the names linked to the job has been former Chicago Bears head coach Mark Trestman, but Ryan O'Halloran of The Florida Times-Union is reporting that it doesn't appear his candidacy is all that serious.
Hearing #Jaguars' direction with offensive coordinator at this point isn't leaning toward Trestman.

There was talk before Trestman would be linked to the Jaguars job because he is friends with head coach Gus Bradley, but mostly because of his ability developing quarterbacks.
This seems to mesh with something odd that happened on Wednesday after Adam Schefter of ESPN reported that Trestman was interviewing the position. Later on on Wednesday Ed Werder of ESPN then reported that Trestman was not interviewing for the position.
From the get go I didn't think the Jaguars would end up hiring Trestman, but he seems like someone who could fit what the Jaguars are looking for. Overall though, it doesn't seem like Trestman is a front runner for the job.
