The Jacksonville Jaguars beat the Buffalo Bills 34-31 in London, due in large part to the performance of its defense, specifically linebacker Telvin Smith.
Because of Smith's nine tackles, three pass defenses, a pick-six interception (against former Florida State teammate E.J. Manuel) he was named NFL AFC Defensive Player of the Week.

Coincidentally, Smith also won AFC Defensive Player of the Week after his Week 7 performance last year as well, with an interception, forced fumble, and four tackles against the Cleveland Browns.
Smith has 68 total tackles, 0.5 sacks, one interception, and a touchdown so far this year.
