ESPN: Colts QB Matt Hasselbeck to start against Jaguars

The Colts are going to roll out 40-year-old backup quarterback Matt Hasselbeck against the Jaguars in Week 4. LET'S DO THIS!

Andrew Weber-USA TODAY Sports

ESPN's Chris Mortensen is reporting that the Indianapolis Colts will start 40-year-old Matt Hasselbeck against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday afternoon.

Andrew Luck sat out much of practice for the Colts this week, reportedly not throwing any passes. Luck also had a private throwing session for Colts coaches on Sunday morning, but Hasselbeck was still named the starter.

Since coming to Indianapolis in 2013, Hasselbeck has played in seven games. He's 37-for-56 for 431 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception. He has never started a game with the Colts and his last start came in 2012 with the Tennessee Titans.
