Week 10 sack analysis vs the Baltimore Ravens.

New, comments

Analyzing each sack given up by the Jaguars all season. Moving onto Week 10.

Evan Habeeb-USA TODAY Sports

With 25 sacks given up through the first 8 games of 2015, the Jaguars gave up  4 more sacks on Sunday vs the Ravens.

Sack No. 1:

Situation: 2nd-and-4 at the Jaguars 22 yard line. 0:09 seconds left in Q1.

The Sack: Sack #1. Even if nobody is open, gotta get rid of the ball Blakelly https://t.co/AWIlBE0Peq

Who was at fault: Blake Bortles

Nobody was really open, but Bortles had more than enough time to get rid of the ball and not lose yards. Avoidable sack.

Sack No. 2:

Situation: 3rd-and-2 at the Jaguars 26 yard line. 8:44 left in Q2.

The Sack: Sack #2. Parnell didn't see the extra blitzer coming https://t.co/NivIBtCJgV

Who was at fault: Parnell.

Parnell's man isn't the one who made the sack, but the fact that he completely missed a blitzer off the edge is the reason the play went south and Blake panicked into pressure.

Sack No. 3:

Situation: 3rd-and-10 at Jacksonville's 25-yard line. 14:51 left in Q4.

The Sack: Forgot to vine this, but the 3rd sack (4th given up.) Parnell comes out for a play, Sam Young does Sam Youn... https://t.co/47GKjbjJMO

Who was at fault: Sam Young.

Awful.

Sack No. 4:

Situation: 4th-and-4 at Baltimore's 49-yard line. 0:01 left.
