Jaguars to play Colts in London in 2016

The Jaguars are heading back to London in 2016, this time to face a divisional opponent early in the season.

The Jacksonville Jaguars will host the Indianapolis Colts at Wembley Stadium in London on October 2nd, 2016.

It's been rumored for months that the Jaguars would be spending two weeks in the UK next year, but these rumors died behind the Wednesday morning announcement. The Jaguars will see two games in London in 2016.

This early season Jaguars/Colts match-up will be the Jaguars' first UK game against a divisional opponent, and their 4th London game in four straight seasons.

Here are other games and dates that have been released so far:

October 2, 2016: Jaguars vs. Colts (Wembley)
October 23, 2016: Rams at NFC East opponent (Twickenham)
October 30, 2016: Bengals vs. Redskins (Wembley)

Losing a home game against an AFC South opponent couldn't have been easy for Khan as the Colts have traditionally been a good draw in recent years. Hosting a London game this early in the season will most likely gift the Jaguars with a lengthy midseason road trip, due to an early season bye-week and Florida/Georgia weekend.
