Jacksonville Jaguars running back T.J. Yeldon hasn't necessarily struggled in recent weeks, but he's been lacking the big plays we saw of him in the middle of the schedule. And if the Jaguars are going to make any type of playoff run, it's going to take big games from Yeldon to carry some of the load that Blake Bortles and this defense have the past several weeks.
A weak San Diego Chargers run defense coming to EverBank Field on Sunday could be the answer.
Yeldon hasn't scored a touchdown since Week 7 in London against the Buffalo Bills, but if it's going to change any week it'll be this one. At just a $5,800 salary (11.7% of your team salary), Yeldon could be a huge bargain. He's coming off a foot injury, and the Chargers are giving up the most points to running backs through the season so far.
As far as Bortles goes, he's had multiple turnovers in three of his past five games. The Chargers pass defense is okay, and the Jaguars should put up good numbers on Sunday, but with red zone scoring a problem I'd stay away. Bortles hasn't had a game with at least 200 yards and less than two turnovers since Week 5 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
