The Jacksonville Jaguars will get a bigger audience for their Week 16 matchup against the New Orleans Saints as their 1pm kickoff has been flexed to 4:05pm. The game will still be shown on CBS.
Presumably, a Jaguars vs. Saints game in New Orleans will produce over 100 points of offense and 11 touchdowns combined by Blake Bortles and Drew Brees, so it's curious as to why the game wouldn't move to Sunday Night Football. But, hey, the Jaguars are getting a little recognition with the larger audience at the later spot.
As far as other games being flexed or under consideration, if the New York Giants beat the Miami Dolphins tonight, their Week 16 matchup against the Minnesota Vikings game on December 27 will move to NBC Sunday Night Football at 8:30pm. The Indianapolis Colts vs. Miami game will remain at 1 PM ET but cross flex from CBS to FOX.
If the Giants lose or tie tonight, the Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Baltimore Ravens will be the Sunday Night Football game. The Giants-Vikings game would remain at 1pm on FOX. The Colts-Dolphins game would remain at 1 PM ET on CBS.
But regardless of the outcome of tonight’s game, Jacksonville at New Orleans on CBS will move from 1pm to 4:05pm.
