The Houston Texans announced that Brandon Weeden will be the quarterback in a Week 16 showdown with the Tennessee Titans, according to ESPN's Tania Ganguli.

Last week, Weeden led the Texans to a 16-10 victory against the Indianapolis Colts, and the win placed the Texans atop the AFC South. But if the Titans can find a way to win, and the Jaguars win on Sunday, they'll be a win next Sunday (and a Titans win next Sunday) away from winning the AFC South.
Head coach Bill O'Brien reported Wednesday that Hoyer remained under the NFL's protocol, though he returned to practice on a limited basis. The team signed B.J. Daniels from the Seattle Seahawks practice squad to shore up depth at the position.
So... go Titans? Yuck.
