2015 NFL free agency: Seahawks who could come to Jacksonville

Defenders like Chris Clemons, Red Bryant, and Will Blackmon prove that Jacksonville likes to look towards Seattle when free agency starts. Could the Seahawks be losing another player to the Jaguars in 2015?

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

The Jacksonville Jaguars have poached several members of the Seattle Seahawks since then-Seahawks defensive coordinator Gus Bradley took over as head coach of the Jaguars two years ago.

There are quite a few players who could enter free agency for the Seahawks. Who are they? Here's the full list:

Player Age Position Cap Hit Status
James Carpenter 25 G $2,431,364 UFA
Kevin Williams 34 DT $2,078,125 UFA
Heath Farwell 33 ILB $1,666,667 UFA
Jeron Johnson 26 S $1,453,125 UFA
Anthony McCoy 27 TE $1,350,000 UFA
Tarvaris Jackson 31 QB $1,250,000 UFA
Clint Gresham 28 LS $887,500 UFA
DeMarcus Dobbs 27 DE $673,412 UFA
Byron Maxwell 26 CB $673,363 UFA
Malcolm Smith 25 OLB $656,475 UFA
Michael Morgan 27 OLB $645,000 RFA
Jermaine Kearse 25 WR $570,000 RFA
D'Anthony Smith 26 DT $570,000 UFA
Deshawn Shead 26 S $570,000 ERFA
O'Brien Schofield 27 OLB $570,000 UFA
Ricardo Lockette 28 WR $570,000 ERFA
Steve Schilling 26 G $517,000 UFA
Greg Scruggs 24 DE $368,823 RFA
Will Tukuafu 31 FB $341,740 UFA
David Gilreath 26 WR $318,000 RFA
Tony Moeaki 27 TE $303,259 UFA
Bryan Walters 27 WR $268,235 UFA
Sidney Rice 28 WR - UFA
Stacy Andrews 33 G - UFA

I think there could be legitimate interest by the Jaguars in cornerback Byron Maxwell, but I think there's even greater interest by the Seahawks to keep him. Depth at cornerback is huge, and I don't think Seattle lets him get away.

Could wide receiver Jermaine Kearse get some looks? Probably not. Yes, he plays in a limited role, but he's not better than Allen Robinson and Marqise Lee.
