NFL mock draft 2015: Titans trade away No. 2 pick, Jaguars stay put

Mocking The Draft's Dan Kadar believes that trades could be a big part of this year's first round, and that the Titans -- not the Jaguars -- will be at the center of it.

There's been very little wavering with Mocking The Draft's Dan Kadar and who he thinks the Jacksonville Jaguars will pick at No. 3 in the 2015 NFL Draft. He's always predicted a defensive lineman, but which defensive lineman -- whether it's Leonard Williams or Randy Gregory -- has been largely up to who the Tennessee Titans draft at No. 2.

In his latest mock draft, the Titans aren't even picking at No. 2.

Instead, Kadar believes the Titans give up the No. 2 pick to the Philadelphia Eagles in exchange for the No. 20 pick and undisclosed later picks. The Eagles grab Oregon quarterback Marcus Mariota, giving Chip Kelly the quarterback that will either sink or save the franchise.

Now at No. 3, the Jaguars have their pickings of whichever defensive lineman they want, and go with USC's Leonard Williams.

Nebraska’s Randy Gregory has often been the choice for Jacksonville in these mock drafts, but he’s not purely a slam dunk choice. Williams fits in Jacksonville’s front four. At the worst, he can play inside if Sen'Derrick Marks is slow to come back from his torn ACL. Williams has the skill set to work as the team’s left defensive end.

Later on, the Titans use that No. 20 pick to draft FSU's Eddie Goldman, a big, strong prospect who can absorb tackles, but also has the athleticism to line up as a defensive end in a 3-4 alignment.

So, Kadar believes the Titans are sticking with Zach Mettenberger? Nope. They pull a Minnesota Vikings and trade their No. 36 and No. 66 picks to the Green Bay Packers to move up and draft UCLA's Brett Hundley.
