NFL free agency 2015: New York Giants to franchise tag Jason Pierre-Paul

The Jaguars are thought to be one of the big players in this offseason's free agency period, but one name they're not going to sign is Giants pass rusher Jason Pierre-Paul.

The Jacksonville Jaguars need to upgrade their defensive line this offseason, but one place they won't be doing it is with New York Giants defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Giants will reportedly franchise tagging Pierre-Paul for an estimated one-year contract worth $15 million if the two sides can't agree on a long-term deal.

Dan Graziano, who covers the Giants for ESPN, said he doesn't believe a long-term deal will be reached "and Pierre-Paul's camp is bracing for the franchise tag."

Pierre-Paul finished the 2014 season with 12.5 sacks, three forced fumbles, and six batted passes.
