The Jacksonville Jaguars built around Blake Bortles in free agency this week, getting Pro Bowl tight end Julius Thomas and right tackle Jermey Parnell. But one piece of last year's receiving corps is garnering interest around the league and could be out the door.
According to Michael Gehlken of UTSanDiego.com, the San Diego Chargers have shown interest in the former fourth-rounder out of Mount Union.

San Diego has been looking to upgrade their receiving corps this month, with reported interest for Randall Cobb of the Green Bay Packers and Stevie Johnson and the San Francisco 49ers.
This is coming a few days after the New York Jets had reported interest in the free agent wide receiver.

In four seasons with the Jaguars, Shorts has caught 176 passes for 2,343 yards and 12 touchdowns.
