Now that all the franchise tags and transition tags have been handed out, we now know who will hit the free agent market. Teams can still re-sign their own players during the next week, but if it's made it to this point already it's very likely that they'll hit the market. One player who was not tagged is Dallas Cowboys running back DeMarco Murray, who the Jaguars saw first hand this season and is expected to be a hot commodity in free agency.
Even for the... Jacksonville Jaguars.
#Jaguars expected to be in the RB market this offseason. One reason: They’ll move Toby Gerhart around, using him an an H-back, as well as RB

Rapoport mentioned on TV that the Jaguars were one of the teams expected to go after DeMarco Murray, and sure why not.
I'm firmly against paying running backs in free agency, but with how much money the Jaguars have in cap space the next two years, plus all the young players who are cost-locked... why not? Right?
Murray did have the benefit of playing behind one of the best offensive lines in football and with one of the best wide outs in the game, as well as a good quarterback, but he's also very talented himself.
If Murray isn't the target the Jaguars go after, some other names on the market who will likely be cheaper are Mark Ingram, C.J. Spiller, Shane Vareen, etc. I figured the Jaguars would draft a running back at some point, but I guess when you have virtually unlimited money going forward, why not spend it?
