Four Jaguars earned paychecks of at least $200,000 as the National Football League released it's list of performance-based bonuses for the 2014 season. Center Luke Bowanko, cornerback Demetrius McCray, safety Josh Evans, and receiver Allen Hurns all topped the $200K mark for their contributions in 2014.

The Jaguars need help at running back. Last year’s free-agent acquisition (Toby Gerhart) has been a bust, and the Swiss Army knife from Michigan (Denard Robinson) is recovering from a season-ending foot sprain. The Jags had some interest in DeMarco Murray, but the money got too rich for them. So they instead pounced via waivers on a guy who had been cut by the Ravens a day after being arrested for DUI.

e Cleveland Browns signed free agent veteran wide receiver Dwayne Bowe on Thursday, which wasn't a big surprise, but there was a tail on the story that seemed to go largely unnoticed. According to Mike Garafolo of FOX Sports, one of the other teams on the heels of Bowe causing the Browns to quickly sign him, was the Jacksonville Jaguars.
