This means that viewers in the team's local markets will see the game on television like normal, but for everyone else the game will need to be streamed online, via a digital platform, which will be a first in NFL history.
While games have been available on a digital platform before, in the form of Sunday Night Football, Monday Night Football, or Thursday Night Football this will be the first regular season game available worldwide on a digital platform.
Details on how to watch the game for out-of-towners hasn't been released yet, but the belief is that this game will not be available to watch via services like NFL Sunday Ticket, according to Kevin Clark of the Wall Street Journal.
