The Jacksonville Jaguars were certainly interested in signing DeMarco Murray this offseason. However, they apparently weren’t nearly as interested as the Philadelphia Eagles. According to Ryan O’Halloran of the Florida Times-Union, Jaguars general manager Dave Caldwell said Monday that Philadelphia’s offer to Murray far exceeded their own.

Even though Jacksonville signed just two free agents on the offensive side of the ball this offseason, Julius Thomas and Jermey Parnell (sorry, not including a PR/KR), which was a bit of a surprise to some. The team did chase Randall Cobb, but he ended up staying with the Green Bay Packers before free agency even started.
