Jaguars owner Shad Khan said it's "no accident" the team isn't linked anymore to a move to L.A. and more team news.

*Khan said "you’ll see couple of teams emerge," in the league’s quest to get a team in Los Angeles.

"That’s something that has been going on for 20 years," Khan said. "Eventually, you can see the crystallization and the time has come for something to happen."

Of the Jaguars not being in the LA discussion, Khan said: "I find that interesting and it’s no accident. Our mission and what makes sense for us is really re-engaging Jacksonville, coming up with a regional approach and of course the London aspect."

The Jacksonville Jaguars viewed linebacker J.T. Thomas as a versatile reserve. Thomas viewed himself as a starter. This discrepancy made Thomas available as a free agent. The Giants signed him to a three-year, $10 million deal (with $4.5M guaranteed) this offseason.
