Jaguars free agency rumors: Updates on all major targets

Here's all the updates for all the big-name free agents that the Jaguars will (likely) target over the next few days.

Tim Fuller-USA TODAY Sports

NFL free agency officially starts Wednesday, March 10 at 4pm EST, but teams aren't waiting that long to get a head start on the offseason -- and that includes the Jacksonville Jaguars. General managers have busied themselves making roster cuts, negotiating with their own free agents, and creating a little buzz on the rumor mill with trade talk and official visit news.

Jaguars free agent targets updates

6:42 PM: And now the Philadelphia Eagles are going to bid for Devin McCourty.

3:35 PM: Here are the restricted free agents the Jaguars didn't choose to re-sign today.

3:29 PM: BAD FLORIO.

12:49 PM: The San Diego Chargers have signed wide receiver Jacoby Jones. Another free agent that wasn't a major target, but could have been a Plan B or Plan C to general manager Dave Caldwell.

11:59 AM: Washington re-signed tight end Niles Paul, who wasn't a major target, but could have definitely been a Plan B or Plan C for the Jaguars.

11:30 AM: Big Blue View believes the New York Giants could be a major player in the Devin McCourty sweepstakes.

10:05 AM: Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald is saying the Miami Dolphins are confident they'll be getting Ndamukong Suh, but that biggest competitor in signing is the Jaguars.

March 5

1:59 PM: The Oakland Raiders are the first team to report an official visit scheduled for Detroit Lions free agent Ndamukong Suh.

1:43 PM: Stephen Holder of the Indianapolis Examiner said the Indianapolis Colts aren't a likelihood for Ndamukong Suh. (Whew.)
