NFL free agency is officially unofficially in full swing, since the phone lines opened up on Saturday for the "legal tampering" period. This three day window allows teams to negotiate terms with impending free agents, but outside of re-signing with their old team, no one can officially sign a new deal until Tuesday at 4 p.m. EST.
There wasn't a lot of action on Saturday, outside of rumors, but the one big thing that happened is that Randall Cobb re-signed with the Green Bay Packers at a very reasonable deal, likely to stay with Aaron Rodgers and considering the fact that he will once again hit free agency at 28-years-old, meaning he'll likely get another big pay day.
There are still plenty of big names out there for the Jaguars to chase, but some names I've heard through some of my sources are Bryan Bulaga, Julius Thomas, Bruce Carter, Ron Parker, Devin McCourty, Jason Worilds and Ndamukong Suh
Live Blog:
10:40 PM: Devin McCourty is returning to the Patriots, but it sounds like the Jaguars were at least in the mix for him.
