The Jacksonville Jaguars appear to be landing tight end Julius Thomas in free agency, but a new report has surfaced indicating they could make a hard push for running back Demarco Murray, who many thought would head back to the Dallas Cowboys after it appeared like there would be a lukewarm price point for backs in free agency.
An opportunity has opened for #Jaguars with DeMarco Murray. They want a centerpiece back and could push hard to price #Cowboys way out.

Mark Ingram signed a relatively cheap deal to stay with the New Orleans Saints and it seemed as if that would set the market, but then LeSean McCoy signed a new deal with the Buffalo Bills that included $26.5 million guaranteed and seems to have thrown a wrench into negotiations with the Cowboys and camp Murray.
Murray has had back-to-back 1,000 yard seasons with the Cowboys, including 13 rushing touchdowns and nearly 2,000 rushing yards last season. Before the tampering period began there were rumors the Jaguars could chase Murray and it appears they're making a run.
UPDATE: And this only adds more fuel to the fire.
