The Jacksonville Jaguars were linked to Adrian Peterson in a report yesterday with a handful of other teams about a possible trade, but in a Thursday press conference, head coach Gus Bradley effectively put that rumor to bed.

That's not to say the Jaguars are completely out of the running, as a trade won't likely happen until next week's NFL Draft, but it's a very slim possibility the team pursues him if Bradley and general manager Dave Caldwell aren't currently having conversations.
With cap hits of $15.4 million, $15 million and $17 million the next three seasons, it was always an uphill battle with Caldwell to go after such a high-priced guy, even if he's one of the best players in the league.
