The NFL released the 2015 regular season schedule on Thursday night and the Jacksonville Jaguars will have a hill to climb in their first 10 weeks.
That's because starting with a Week 3 trip to the New England Patriots and ending with a Week 10 trip against the Baltimore Ravens, the Jaguars will have played just one game in Jacksonville: Week 6 against the Houston Texans.
How can this be? Well, they start out with two home games against the Carolina Panthers and the Miami Dolphins, which is nice. But then we see road games against the Patriots, Indianapolis Colts, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Then there's the Week 6 home game against the Texans, but then it's a "home" game in London against the Buffalo Bills, a bye week, and back-to-back road games against the New York Jets and Ravens before a homecoming of epic proportions: Week 11 on Thursday Night Football against the Tennessee Titans.
So, while technically it's five road games, a bye week, and two homes games in an eight-week stretch, it's still a long time between games at EverBank Field.
