The Jacksonville Jaguars wanted to add veteran receiver Greg Jennings to their stable of very young pass-catchers, but the Miami Dolphins have signed him.
According to Chris Perkins of the Miami Sun-Sentinel, Jennings is getting a two-year, $8 million contract.

Jennings visited the Jaguars early last week and it seemed like he would have been a good fit for Jacksonville, as Jaguars general manager Dave Caldwell talked about wanting a veteran slot receiver. According to Pro Football Focus, Jennings ran more than 66% of his routes from the slot in 2014 and more than 65% of his routes from the slot in 2013. In those two years, he's compiled 127 receptions for 1,546 yards and 10 touchdowns.
But it always comes down to price versus value, and even with it being a good fit, it didn't work out.
