Jaguars have least amount of 30-year old players in the NFL

The Jaguars have one of the younger rosters in the NFL, but also have one of the "least oldest".

We all know the Jacksonville Jaguars have one of the youngest rosters in the NFL. What was a little surprising was just how few 30-year-old players the team has on the current roster. According to Jimmy Kempski, the Jaguars have just four (4) players over the age of 30 on their current roster.

The four players that are over 30 very likely won't be here much longer. Paul Posluszny (30) is probably in his last season with the team. Chris Clemons (33), Marcedes Lewis (30) and Josh Scobee (31) could all be in the same boat as well.

When the Jaguars signed Clemons in free agency, it was understood it would likely be a short-term deal and depending on what the Jaguars do in the NFL Draft, he could be gone by the time the season starts. Lewis has been connected to some trade rumors leading up to the Draft and Josh Scobee is on the final year of his deal.

Based on who's on roster currently, the Jaguars average age is 24.9 years old. I'm not sure where that ranks in the grand scheme of things, but I would imagine it's near the bottom. What was interesting here was how many players the Indianapolis Colts and Tennessee Titans have over the age of 30, especially the Titans.
