The Jacksonville Jaguars added to their offense by drafting Alabama running back T.J. Yeldon. The offensive side of the ball was where a lot of fans wanted to have the draft focused on early. With the pick up of Dante Fowler and the addition of Yeldon, the team has addressed both sides of the ball.
Yeldon was met with mixed reviews based on what I saw on Twitter, but I'm a big fan of the pick for this team. He fits their running style and glides through his steps. He's also very effective catching the ball out of the backfield and is excellent in pass protection, which means that he will see playing time early as a rookie.
Yeldon ran for 3,322 yards and 37 TDs in three seasons at Alabama, rotating in the backfield, but he did have 10 fumbles over the past three years. The ball security issue is something I'm sure that the Jaguars will focus on early in Yeldon's career.
