The Jacksonville Jaguars selected Ohio State defensive tackle Michael Bennett in the sixth round of the 2015 NFL Draft with the No. 180 overall pick.
Bennett was a Third Team AP All-American selection as a senior for the national champion Buckeyes and a First Team All American on CBS Sports. He racked up 14 tackles for a loss and seven sacks in 2014 and 11.5 tackles for loss and seven sacks as a junior in 2013. At 6'2, 293 pounds, Bennett will project as a penetrating three-technique defensive tackle for the Jaguars and could be a five-technique as well.
In Dan Kadar's list of the top 300 players in the 2015 NFL Draft, Bennett was projected as a second round pick and the 45th best player overall. His slide down the draft board surprised many, including Bennett:

The Jaguars are next scheduled to pick in the seventh and final round with the 220th and 229th picks.
