Jaguars head coach Gus Bradley said that defensive lineman Sen'Derrick Marks is ahead of schedule on rehab for his injured knee.

The Jacksonville Jaguars were optimistic they could get back Sen'Derrick Marks for Week 1, but that they'd miss him for the majority of training camp and the preseason.

Now the team's hopeful they could get Marks back even before then.

Jaguars head coach Gus Bradley said after the first day of OTA practices that Marks is ahead of schedule on his rehab for an injured ACL he sustained in the 2014 season finale against the Houston Texans.

While he won't be back at 100 percent right away, having Marks back even for the tail end of preseason would be huge. Even a week or two ahead of schedule means his first game experience wouldn't be the Week 1 opener against the Carolina Panthers.
