Now that the 2015 NFL Mock Draft is over, that means it's time for the way too early 2016 NFL Mock Drafts to appear. Dan Kadar of SB Nation has his out already and it doesn't appear he thinks very highly of the Jacksonville Jaguars heading into the 2015 season, as they pick second overall in his mock draft.
Here's who Kadar picks for the Jaguars in his 2016 NFL Mock Draft:
2. Jacksonville Jaguars - Vernon Hargreaves, CB, Florida
It's pretty jarring to see the Jaguars projected to pick second overall after the 2015 season, given all they've done in free agency and the NFL Draft, which was wildly praised. Also, who gets picked is weird.
Hargreaves is a great player, but he's also a little corner and doesn't fit the type the Jaguars have been stockpiling at the corner position since Dave Caldwell became general manager. It appears I'm in the minority, since nearly every major publication lists CB as a need for the Jaguars, but I would argue it could be their deepest position on the roster.
If the Jaguars are picking that high in the 2016 NFL Draft it probably means Blake Bortles isn't the answer at quarterback, so I'd hope they'd look to fix that position before picking a corner.
Then again, if they're picking second overall Gus Bradley and the "corner type" is probably unemployed.
