What's your favorite Jaxson DeVille memory?

Curtis Dvorak retired as Jaguars mascot Jaxson Deville. Here are some of our favorite memories of him!

After 19 seasons as the Jacksonville Jaguars mascot and best mascot in the NFL, Curtis Dvorak has decided to hang up the furry cleats and retire.

Jaxson made his first appearance on August 18, 1996 and made his last during the Jaguars home finale on Thursday night against the Tennessee Titans. He was one of the few watchable things the franchise had going for it during most of the past 15 years and it's sad we won't get to see him on the sidelines this fall.

But today is not a day to grieve. Rejoice! We've been blessed with many a memory because Curtis did his job better than anyone else in the league. Enjoy. (And thanks, Curtis.)

He seriously pissed off Steelers owner Dan Rooney.

And Bill Cowher.

He crashes EverBank pool parties... and owns them.

He rocks the hell out of pink.

He is impenetrable to flames. He IS flames.

He's Duval 'til he dies.

Oh, and he circles up with the best of them. (Literally.)

He hates birds.

He hates You-Know-Who just as much as we do.

He knows.

And last, but not least, he takes paintballs like a champ.

Thanks, Curtis. Thanks for everything.
