The Jacksonville Jaguars may not be stacked with a talented roster yet, but there are a few bright spots on both the offensive and defensive side of the ball.
According to Pete Prisco of CBSSports.com, the top 100 players in the league include eight from the AFC South, and two from the Jaguars: Julius Thomas and Sen'Derrick Marks.
67. Julius Thomas, TE, Jacksonville Jaguars: He had 12 touchdown catches last season, then got hurt, and it impacted his role with the Broncos. He signed with the Jaguars as a free agent. He is a tough matchup for any defense.
72. Sen'Derrick Marks, DT, Jacksonville Jaguars: He finished with 8 1/2 sacks last season and was clearly the best player on the Jacksonville defense. He is fast and strong and does a nice job of pushing the pocket inside.
As far as the rest of the AFC South, the Indianapolis Colts had four players (No. 6 Andrew Luck, No. 40 Vontae Davis, No. 66 T.Y. Hilton, and No. 98 Robert Mathis), the Tennessee Titans had one player (No. 83 Jurrell Casey), and the Houston Texans had the best player on the list (No. 1 J.J. Watt).
Are there any other Jaguars players you think deserved to be on the list?
