This morning, James Olley of the London Evening Standard fabricated an article that is, frankly, rubbish.
Exclusive: Fulham owner Khan considering selling up, buying #thfc and moving the Jaguars into the new WHL. http://t.co/k7yuLSChTe
— James Olley (@JamesOlley) July 10, 2015
Inside the article, Olley suggests Jaguars owner Shad Khan is selling his soccer club, Fulham, in an effort to buy another soccer club: Tottenham Hotspur.
Tottenham recently unveiled a plan to build a new stadium that will host two NFL matches per season starting in 2018. So, naturally, Olley draws a brilliant connection and insists that Khan is planning on moving the Jacksonville Jaguars over seas to play in the new stadium full-time.
None of Olley's ideas are grounded or concrete, and he lists no logical explanation for his speculation. Read the article if you'd like, but I wouldn't waste your time. It's just bullocks, as you can see by Fulham's official response:
BODIED.
Jim Woodcock agrees. The Jaguars aren't going anywhere.
One more thought -- entire "story" on sale of #Fulham, buying Spurs and moving #Jaguars to new Spurs stadium is nothing but falsehoods.
