There were quite a few instances last year where the Jacksonville Jaguars defense played more than well enough to win, but the offense couldn't put points on the board.
The Week 5 matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers was one of them.
Late in the game, the Steelers were only leading 10-9 and driving. Within field goal range, Ben Roethlisberger set up to pass and was flushed out of the pocket. Before he could throw it away, Abry Jones forced the fumble, made the sack, and allowed Andre Branch to make the recovery.
(Please forget the fact that two plays after this Blake Bortles threw a pick-six to the left sideline. Thanks.)
Does Abry Jones' strip-sack deserve to be in the Top 25 for 2014? Let us know in the comments below!
